The Bookmark is a full service, independent bookstore offering over 20,000 book titles in stock. The selection includes hardbacks and paperbacks, fiction and non-fiction in such categories as discounted best sellers, general fiction, thrillers, mystery, romance, science fiction and fantasy, poetry, business and career, health and diet, travel, humor, cooking, regional, religion and inspiration, biographies, children's books, self help, science, sports, gardening, home repair, reference and many others categories.

Other offerings by The Bookmark are a frequent purchaser program, free gift wrap, books on cassette and CD-ROM, audio rentals, special ordering, gift certificates (good at over 15,000 Book Sense bookstores in the United States), corporate accounts program, and out of print and hard to find book searches,and free two (2) hour parking validation in the Bank of America Corporate Center Parking Deck.

The Bookmark also has a large selection of greeting cards, both general (such as birthday, get well, sympathy, wedding and anniversary, congratulations, and friendship) and seasonal (Valentine, holidays, and graduation).

The Bookmark is a member of the American Bookseller Association and their Book Sense marketing program for book sales, gift certificates, and other programs of interest for booksellers. The Bookmark is also a member of SEBA, The Southeastern Booksellers Association.

The Bookmark also sponsors special events like author book signings and supports
the PLCMC's Novello Festival every October.
